the assistant superintendent – advanced facilities / controlled environments supports the superintendent and project team in the successful execution of technically complex construction projects throughout the united states. This role assists with the coordination of field operations, subcontractors, safety compliance, quality control, scheduling activities, and project documentation on advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, mission critical, data center, life sciences, controlled environment, and cleanroom construction projects.

this position is ideal for an experienced foreman, lead carpenter, field engineer, project engineer, assistant superintendent, or construction professional who is looking to advance into a superintendent role and gain hands-on leadership experience managing large-scale projects.

the assistant superintendent works closely with project leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and client expectations.

this position requires 100% project-based travel.

most assignments are located outside of michigan and may require extended stays at project locations across the united states. Candidates must be willing and able to travel full-time for project assignments.

per diem, travel benefits, and project-specific incentives may be available based on project location and assignment.

• assist the superintendent with daily oversight of construction activities.
• coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and self-perform crews.
• monitor field productivity and workforce requirements.
• assist with project logistics, site access, material deliveries, and work sequencing.
• participate in daily planning meetings and foreman coordination meetings.
• support schedule execution and milestone tracking.
