job summary

the project manager – advanced facilities & controlled environments is responsible for the successful execution and delivery of technically complex construction projects from project award through closeout. This position manages project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, field coordination, client relationships, and overall project performance to ensure successful outcomes.

the project manager works closely with clients, field leadership, subcontractors, suppliers, engineering teams, and company leadership to safely deliver projects that meet quality, schedule, and financial objectives.

a strong background in metal studs and drywall commercial construction is a plus and translatable to this position - candidates from highly reputable commercial construction self-perform interiors companies are encouraged to apply.

travel requirement

limited travel may be required for client meetings, site visits, bid walks, project reviews, and industry events.

key responsibilities project execution & leadership
  • lead projects from award through closeout.
  • develop and maintain project execution plans.
  • manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
  • coordinate procurement activities and long-lead material strategies.
  • manage project documentation and contract compliance.
  • lead project turnover, commissioning, and closeout activities.
financial management
  • monitor project profitability and financial performance.
  • manage cost controls, forecasting, and budget reporting.
  • review and approve subcontractor invoices and payment applications.
  • manage change orders, claims, and project risk mitigation efforts.
  • maintain accurate project financial records and reporting.
field coordination
  • coordinate activities between field supervision, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
  • support construction planning and work sequencing.
  • monitor productivity and project progress.
  • develop corrective action and recovery plans when necessary.
  • ensure resources are effectively deployed to support project success.
