Advanced Cabinetry Inc. is hiring an experienced Kitchen & Bath Designer for our Auburn Hills showroom.

We are a family-owned company with over 40 years in business, and we are looking for a proven designer who can step into a professional showroom environment and work directly with clients on real kitchen, bath, and cabinetry projects.

This position is ideal for someone who already has experience in kitchen and bath design, cabinetry, remodeling, client sales, and project coordination.

Responsibilities
  • Meet with showroom clients and guide them through the kitchen and bath design process
  • Create functional and attractive cabinetry layouts for kitchens, bathrooms, and other interior spaces
  • Use 2020 Design software to prepare layouts, renderings, and design presentations
  • Help clients select cabinetry, countertops, hardware, and related materials
  • Review measurements, layouts, selections, and order details for accuracy
  • Communicate clearly with clients, vendors, installers, subcontractors, and internal team members
  • Manage multiple projects at different stages of the sales and ordering process
  • Follow company procedures for lead handling, design presentations, quoting, ordering, and project handoff
  • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail
  • Provide a professional, positive, and helpful experience for every client
Qualifications
  • Previous kitchen and bath design experience required
  • Cabinetry, remodeling, or home improvement industry experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of kitchen and bathroom layouts, cabinet construction, measurements, and remodeling flow
  • Experience with 2020 Design software required
  • Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to build trust with clients and guide them through selections and decisions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to keep projects organized
  • Ability to work independently while also being part of a team
  • Positive attitude, professional appearance, and team-first mindset
  • Portfolio of completed kitchen and bath design work required
