Dell Driving Technician / Field Service Technician

Full-time position.

• Title:
  
  Desktop Support / Field Service Technician / Computer Driving Technician.
• Type of Job:
  Long-term Contract / Contract to permanent.

• Travel to various customer locations from the pickup parts location.
• Visit business offices and private residences to repair, troubleshoot, and break-fix computers, desktops, laptops, and printers.
• Use own vehicle for travel to provide service.
• Primarily service Dell products (previous experience with Dell is a plus).
• Travel within a radius of 50 to 70 miles from the pickup location.
• Maintain a professional appearance and communication style.
• Be prepared for overtime work and extensive driving (up to 300 miles per week).

• A+ Certification is mandatory (training/expired status accepted).
• Dell or other product manufacturer certification is a plus.
• Good experience working with laptops and desktops.
• Proficiency in break/fix procedures.

• Background check and driving record verification will be required upon job offer.
• Complete Dell certification training (online, free) is required.
• Contract agreement terms will be outlined by the company.
• Pay will be disbursed biweekly for approved hours.
• Mileage will be reimbursed; contact recruiter for details.
• Maintain a backup vehicle in case of breakdown.
