** Systems Engineer, Senior    

Job Summary  We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior Systems Engineer to play a critical role in the design, development, and integration of complex systems for PHINIA Korea LLC. This role involves leading technical initiatives, ensuring system reliability and performance, and providing expert guidance throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities    Lead the architecture, design, development, and integration of sophisticated systems, ensuring alignment with project requirements, industry standards, and company objectives.
Conduct in-depth system analysis, identify technical risks, and propose innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
Oversee the verification and validation processes, including test plan development, execution, and defect management, to ensure system quality and performance.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and manufacturing, to define system interfaces and ensure seamless integration.
Mentor junior engineers, provide technical leadership, and contribute to the development of best practices and engineering standards.
Manage system requirements, trace dependencies, and ensure comprehensive documentation throughout the system lifecycle.
Participate in design reviews, technical presentations, and stakeholder meetings to communicate progress and address technical concerns.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve system design and development processes.
Troubleshoot complex system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective actions.
Qualifications    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in systems engineering, with a strong focus on complex electromechanical or embedded systems.
Demonstrated expertise in systems architecture design, requirements management, and system integration.
Proficiency with systems engineering tools (e.g., DOORS, JIRA, MATLAB/Simulink, SysML).
Strong understanding of various communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet, LIN).

Experience with embedded software development and real-time operating systems is highly desirable.
Proven ability to lead technical projects, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
