Propulsion Hardware-in--Loop Engineer

Must have

• Proven experience in the development of Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) systems such as dSPACE, ETAS, or NI
• Comprehensive understanding of HIL simulator hardware and ECU electrical interface definitions
• Knowledge of harness development and integration processes
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Software, Controls, and Calibration teams
• Experience working with interdisciplinary systems including ICE, Transmission, EE, hybrid, and BEV systems
• Competence in troubleshooting and resolving HIL simulation environment issues during commissioning
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills
• Willingness to adapt in a fast-paced, global working environment

• Serve as the primary liaison between the HIL development team and external partners
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish HIL requirements and perform impact analyses
• Setup the HIL simulator for specific vehicle configurations swiftly
• Address and resolve HIL simulation or integration challenges
• Conduct benchmarks and assess emerging HIL technologies
• Engage with teams on process development, methodologies, and tool enhancements
