Student, Mechanical Engineer, Engineering

Position: Student (Hourly)
* Completed min 1yr in a degree level qualification (or equivalent diploma/experience) in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
* Self-motivated and have a strong and flexible attitude towards work, good attention to detail, good understanding of engineering fundamentals, good response to timescale pressure, good communication skills.
* Software experience in Microsoft Office essential, with analysis software (e.g. Matlab) or programming (e.g. VBA) an advantage
* Awareness of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
* A genuine interest and enjoyment in engineering and resolving technical problems.
* Practical experience of mechanical systems an advantage.
* Able to demonstrate excellent presentation, communication and inter-personal skills (including the ability to work in a close-knit team).
* Willingness to train and develop skills.
* Language skills (German, French, Chinese) an advantage but not essential.
* Self-motivated and have a strong and flexible attitude towards work
* Ability to stay calm in high stress situations
* Ability to communicate at all levels
* Team Orientated
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure and to deadline when required
* The ability to prioritise and organise own workload
* To comply to Health, Safety and Environmental regulations such as PPE showing responsibility of personal safety and that of others
