Design Release Engineer - Vehicle Access Junior Level

We are seeking a Design/Development Release Engineer specializing in Vehicle Access and Key Authentication Electronic Control Unit (ECU) modules. In this role, you will collaborate with product design/release engineers, external suppliers, and various internal support groups to specify, develop, and qualify components for production.

You will serve as a key technical bridge, interfacing with EE Systems groups to define vehicle-level functional specifications, working with vehicle packaging teams, and collaborating with the Product Design Office to define first-surface components.

Key Responsibilities

* Specification & Design:
Develop component-level specifications and review component DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis).

* Program Management:
Participate in Product Assurance Planning and manage suppliers to ensure all vehicle program milestones are successfully met.

* Validation & Compliance:
Deliver DVRR (Design Validation and Reliability Report) and complete all applicable compliance reports.

* Quality Assurance:
Participate in Reactive Quality Problem Solving and support Supplier Quality during Process Sign-off (PS) and PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis) reviews.

* Manufacturing Support:
Provide plant support as needed (travel may be required).
