This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We’re entering an exciting new chapter as we’ve announced the plan for Soft Bank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. Position reports to:
Project Operations Manager

Work model for the role: Onsite in Auburn Hills, MI. This role contributes to the Project Management for ABB Robotics focusing on Electronics Industries.

• Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.
• Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.
• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close‑out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; will consider Associate’s degree with equivalent work experience.
• Independent thinker, bold risk‑taker, fast learner, and highly collaborative team player—driven to push boundaries and deliver impactful solutions.
• 8 years of project management experience in industrial automation, robotic automation or manufacturing environment.
• Highly adept in SAP, MS Office Suite, Excel and strong presentation skills.
• Candidates must possess appropriate authorization to work permanently in the US without sponsorship;
  English fluency required.
• Ability to travel 50% or greater after 12 months; initial travel will be less than 25%.
