Your mission, roles and responsibilitiesPosition Summary:
This is a unique opportunity as the Engineering Intern will participate in rotational development up to the point of graduation, having each six‑month term with a different area of Faurecia R&D. The Engineering Intern works on assigned projects, assists the manager in areas of design, engineering, drawings, equipment, and/or documentation.
- Learns how to produce / develop designs
- Assists with alternative design solutions
- Maintains strong familiarity with specific customer requirements
- Completes all assignments with the prescribed schedules
- Proposes continuous improvement ideas in business efficiency and cost reduction
- Capitalises on knowledge and shares best practices / lessons learned across the organization and within the site

Position Specifications Knowledge / Skills
- Familiarity with primary manufacturing methods
- Per Training Plan matrix
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Active listening skills
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple ongoing tasks
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills
- Data entry proficiency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Full‑time student enrolled in an accredited 4‑year college or university
- Graduation date of December
2027 or later - Can work at least 24 hours during school
- Minimum 2.8 GPA
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering field, or similar
