Job Description
This role involves designing and developing base engine calibration for assigned powertrain modules, performing dyno testing, executing base engine test scripts, and developing prototype models to address base engine validation issues as part of root cause analysis. Candidates must have strong technical skills in vehicle engine calibration and related technologies.
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills- Minimum of 3 years of vehicle engine calibration experience
- Fundamental knowledge of internal combustion engines and powertrain calibration
- Working knowledge of calibration tools (INCA / ATI), emissions regulations, and powertrain technologies
- Data acquisition experience collecting and processing data
- Outstanding problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Proficient in MATLAB / Simulink and INCA
- Knowledge of design of experiments and advanced optimization techniques for calibration
- Proficient in advanced simulation tools
- Proficient in CANalyzer, UDS diagnostic protocol and services, CAN and LIN communication protocol
- Design and develop base engine calibration for assigned powertrain modules
- Perform dyno testing and fine‑tune the calibrations as needed
- Assist in developing and executing base engine test scripts
- Develop prototype models to fix base engine validation issues as part of root‑cause analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to identify and work with appropriate contacts and resources
- To resolve issues in a timely manner
Bachelor of Computer Science
Base Salary Range$90,000 – $120,000 per annum
