Trillium Professional is now seeking a Design Release Engineer for work in Auburn Hills!
The Design Release Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, advance product & quality planning (APQP), and production release of a system/component within Fuels Systems:
Fuel/Urea tanks and fuel/urea delivery modules.

Requirements:
-Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering is required.
-Proficiency in English (write, listen, and speak) is a requirement.
-BSME degree from ABET accredited university/or equivalent is preferred.
-2
-4 years of design/development automotive engineering experience in Fuel Systems and/or UREA.
-Will consider an internship with Fuel Systems (UREA also considered) as part of that experience.
-Self-starter with strong leadership, communication & organizational skills and demonstrated problem solving ability.
-Will be required to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.
-Will be required to drive a company car. A valid driver’s license is required as well as a clean driving record.
-Products:
Fuel tanks, Urea (SCR) Tanks, Fuel delivery modules, Urea Delivery Modules, Gas and Diesel Filters.
Preferred Requirements:
-Automotive product engineering experience.
-Injection molded/Blow molded Fuel/Urea tank design.
-Knowledge of fuel tank virtual simulations is highly recommended.
-PHEV experience is recommended
-Fuel Delivery Module design is recommended.
- Experience with Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
- Experience with Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R).
-Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) preferred Belt certification.
-General understanding of fasteners/torque.
-General understanding of GD&T.
-General understanding of NX, Teamcenter, PLM.
