Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Hardware Design Engineer to support the design, development, integration, and validation of embedded electronic hardware systems for automotive applications. This role involves working across the full product development lifecycle, including hardware architecture, schematic capture, PCB design, hardware integration, validation, debugging, and technical problem resolution.

The successful candidate will collaborate with systems, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and validation teams to deliver reliable, safe, and high‑performance automotive electronic solutions that meet customer, regulatory, and industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities Hardware Design & Development
  • Design, develop, and validate embedded electronic hardware solutions for automotive applications.
  • Support hardware architecture definition, schematic capture, and multilayer PCB design activities.
  • Translate system and customer requirements into robust hardware design solutions.
  • Participate in schematic reviews, PCB layout reviews, and design evaluations.
  • Support PCB‑to‑mechanical integration activities while addressing packaging and thermal requirements.
Integration, Testing & Validation
  • Perform hardware bring‑up, debugging, validation, and verification activities.
  • Investigate and resolve complex electrical and electronic issues through structured root cause analysis.
  • Utilize laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, and other test instruments for troubleshooting and validation.
  • Support EMI/EMC testing, compliance activities, and design improvements.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with systems, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and validation teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Support system integration activities and technical issue resolution.
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and engineering problem‑solving initiatives.
Product Quality & Continuous Improvement
  • Evaluate product performance and recommend design improvements to enhance reliability, manufacturability, safety, and quality.
