We are a global engineering consultancy providing services to the automotive industry as well as the heavy-duty and commercial engine industry. We are expanding, and we are seeking a Chassis Dynamometer Operator for our Vehicle Development Center.

The right candidate will be involved with vehicle level benchmarking, instrumented vehicle testing and vehicle level engine calibration inside a state-of-the-art 4WD emissions chassis dynamometer.

Job Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibilities will include setting-up and conducting tests on advanced chassis dynamometer system for certification and development projects.
• Preventive maintenance of equipment
• Maintaining quality assurance procedures
• Must be able to work 2nd shift (3:00PM-11:00PM) or 3rd shift (11:00PM-7:00AM)

Requirements

• Associates Degree, Trade School or Technical School
• Systems knowledge: PC based applications including Microsoft Office
• Mechanical or Electrical experience required
• Chassis dynamometer experience required
• Enthusiastic attitude and a desire to succeed are essential
• Effective organizational skills and team working ability desired
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fabrication experience a plus
• Emissions experience a plus
• Combustion experience a plus
• Engine testing experience a plus
• Horiba testing equipment experience a plus
