Accelerated Leadership Program - Purchasing Specialist

Schaeffler is a dynamic global technology company that partners with major automobile manufacturers and key players in the aerospace and industrial sectors, offering many development opportunities.

The Accelerated Leadership Program consists of four six‑month rotations that provide cross‑departmental exposure. Each rotation can be located at any of our facilities throughout the North American Region (USA, Mexico, and Canada), including the possibility for other international rotations. The first rotation will begin in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Upon graduation of the program, a permanent position in Auburn Hills, Michigan as a Purchasing Specialist is guaranteed.

• Partner with a mentor who is an experienced professional to develop best practices and evolve into a leader at Schaeffler.
• Gain knowledge alongside experts in relevant and cross‑functional departments.
• Be trained based on the 70:20:10 model, which emphasizes hands‑on experience, mentoring, and formal training.
• Complete leadership training and tools to develop leadership skills.
• Meet rotation development milestones.
• Become equipped for your guaranteed position upon graduation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain / Operations Management or related business degree.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• At least two rotations of relevant co‑ops or internships.
• Experience in a fast‑paced environment preferred.
• Leadership experience or exposure preferred.
• Thorough understanding of engineering principles.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Willingness to relocate every six months.
