Required Technical/Functional Skills
- Minimum 3 years of vehicle engine calibration experience
- Fundamental knowledge of Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) and powertrain calibration
- Working knowledge of calibration tools such as INCA and ATI
- Understanding of emissions regulations and powertrain technologies
- Experience in data acquisition, collection, and processing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and INCA
- Knowledge of calibration processes using Design of Experiments (DoE) and optimization techniques
- Experience with advanced simulation tools
- Proficiency in CANalyzer, UDS diagnostic protocols/services, CAN, and LIN communication protocols
- Design and develop Base Engine calibrations for assigned powertrain modules
- Perform dyno testing and fine-tune calibrations as required
- Develop and execute Base Engine test scripts
- Analyze and resolve Base Engine validation issues through root cause analysis
- Develop prototype models to support calibration validation and issue resolution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during calibration and validation activities
