The candidate will own the technical maturity and feasibility of the engineering disciplines and processes, component / system engineering development to meet the vehicle requirements within the team of the candidates own perimeter. To manage the development and validation of the 12V Battery through the program milestones, driving continuous improvement and issue management resolution.
Responsibilities- Create, maintain and update technical specs and design rules for the product family.
- Guarantee innovation and alignment to benchmark.
- Define technical solutions to meet defined and assigned performance and quality targets.
- Create sourcing documents.
- Support component development in cooperation with suppliers and the other functional teams in Stellantis ensuring the respect of technical deliverables at the planned due dates which include:
- Definition of validation test plans
- Coordination of HW / SW releases for the component, ensuring the alignment with the validation activities
- Tracking of the validation activities and the related problem fixes
- Definition of countermeasures in case of issues and delays
- Approval of tests results and related deviations.
- Understand and Support Virtual Validation Analysis activity as a part of the design; cooperate on the development of new methods and targets.
- Understand and Support Physical Validation activity; cooperate on the development of new methods and targets for validation.
- Support root cause Analysis activity define technical solution for quality improvement of current vehicles to meet the quality targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree field.
- 8 years of related engineering experience.
- Experience in electrochemical components, Automotive technical knowledge (environmental requirements, vehicle electrical / electronic architecture, EMC, good engineering, design and packaging FMEA, drawings verification, etc.).
- Master's degree preferred.
