General Assembly Feasibility Lead – Job
Location:
Auburn Hills, Michigan, United States
- Perform General Assembly feasibility activities across New & MCA programs and provide direction to manufacturing feasibility specialists.
- Drive product design to manufacturing requirements and coordinate internal manufacturing customers with the Product team through co-location; propose alternative product solutions to drive issue closure.
- Develop Design to Manufacturing proposals to optimize capital expenditure (Capex), support future Plant Loading studies, and lead Vertical Integration for Make/Buy alignment.
- Develop detailed Process Maps; ensure feasibility studies are performed in the plant environment; lead Change Management meetings to align product processes and tooling; manage General Assembly KPIs.
- Ensure Design to Manufacturing and feasibility requirements are implemented in the product design prior to TKO's.
- Develop high-visibility weekly updates to Stellantis management and travel to assembly plants to support WPI and Launch activities.

RequirementsBasic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 8+ years of Manufacturing/Product engineering experience, with knowledge of manufacturing/plant operations and product design
- Strong knowledge of GA manufacturing processes, tooling, carriers
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong knowledge of DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly)
- Self-motivated and able to achieve results under time pressure
- Ability to work with all levels of management while maintaining clear communication
- Superior teamwork and leadership skills with the ability to handle multiple projects
- Master's Degree in Engineering
- 10+ years of Manufacturing/Product engineering experience with knowledge of manufacturing and plant operations
