Job Description
Job Title: Telematics Validation Engineer
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Client: Stellantis (Need 5 years of Exp)
We are seeking a highly skilled Telematics Validation Engineer with 5–10 years of experience in automotive ECU validation and testing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in telematics systems, CAN communication, MQTT protocol, HIL testing, and Vector tools.
Key Responsibilities- Perform validation and testing of automotive ECUs with a focus on telematics systems.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases for ECU-level and system-level validation.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug communication issues using CAN and MQTT protocols.
- Conduct Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing and support test automation activities.
- Utilize Vector tools such as CANoe and CANalyzer for simulation, diagnostics, and analysis.
- Collaborate with development and integration teams to identify, track, and resolve defects.
- Support system integration, subsystem validation, and end-to-end testing activities.
- Prepare test reports, validation summaries, and defect documentation.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and validation processes.
- 5 years of experience in Automotive ECU Validation.
- Strong hands-on experience with CAN protocol and CAN-based diagnostics.
- Experience with MQTT communication protocol.
- Proficiency in Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
- Experience in test case creation, execution, and defect management.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in Telematics ECU testing and connected vehicle technologies.
- Experience with test automation scripting.
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols and validation methodologies.
- Prior experience working with automotive OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
