This role contributes to NVHI development, validation, and integration activities through testing, analysis, issue resolution, and cross‑functional collaboration. The position supports both hands‑on technical execution and program‑level NVHI performance delivery from early development through production.
Primary Responsibilities- Track NVH attributes/component status to target using scorecards, report status and upscale issues to Projects teams
- Support NVHI development, validation, and integration activities at the vehicle, system, and component levels.
- Establish and develop NVH enablers required to meet program targets for NVH attributes such as Road Noise, Powertrain Noise, Wind Noise, Ride Comfort, etc.
- Conduct and support NVHI testing, including test preparation, data acquisition, subjective evaluations, and post‑processing.
- Analyze NVHI data and provide clear technical summaries, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Support NVHI assessments across operating conditions, including powertrain, road, wind, accessory, and interior noise.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (e.g., Design, CAE, Manufacturing, Suppliers) to identify root causes and implement NVHI solutions.
- Scheduling and coordinating NVH benchmarking, standardized testing and target setting.
- Work closely with technicians, mechanics, and engineering peers during vehicle test and development activities.
- Support Global NVH Road Map / Decoupled Development Activities
- Quantify NVH effects and provide recommendations for Cost Reduction and Quality initiatives
- Support identification and development of new technologies

- Experience with active or electronically controlled NVH systems (e.g., ANC) is a plus.
- Proven ability to solve technical problems and communicate solutions clearly.
- Experience working with, or supporting, cross‑functional or cross‑organization engineering teams.
- Role level and scope will be aligned with candidate experience and business need.
