Our client, a leading global automotive manufacturer, is seeking a  
** Design Release Engineer (Fuel Systems)
** to join their team. As a  
** Design Release Engineer** , you will be part of the  
** Fuel Systems Engineering Department
** supporting  
** Vehicle Program Teams, Validation Labs, Manufacturing Plants, Supplier Operations, and Quality Teams** . The ideal candidate will have

** Pay Range:**  $47/hour

** What's the Job?*
* + Design, develop, validate, and release fuel system components including fuel tanks, fuel delivery modules, and urea/DEF tank systems.

+ Lead APQP activities and support product validation efforts throughout the product development cycle.

+ Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturing, testing labs, CAE engineers, and vehicle program teams to resolve technical issues.

+ Drive quality improvements, cost optimization, weight reduction initiatives, and production readiness activities.

+ Communicate technical project status and support compliance with engineering standards and release processes.

** What's Needed?*
* + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering field from an ABET-accredited program.

+ 2-5 years of experience as a Design Release Engineer, Product Engineer, or Component Engineer.

+ Experience working with fuel systems, including fuel tanks, fuel pumps, fuel delivery modules, or DEF/urea tank systems.

+ Understanding of APQP and product validation processes (DVP&R experience preferred).

+ Strong communication skills, supplier management experience, valid driver's license, and ability to travel as required.
