Our client, a leading Automotive Manufacturing company, is seeking a Technical Program Manager – Air Induction & Exhaust Systems to join their team. As a Technical Program Manager, you will be part of the Vehicle Engineering Organization, supporting Air Induction & Exhaust Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, and Supplier teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and proven program management experience, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location:Auburn Hills, MI
Pay Range:$61.34/hour
What’s the Job?- Lead Air Induction and Exhaust system development from concept through vehicle launch and end-of-life support.
- Serve as the primary liaison between engineering, program management, manufacturing, and supplier teams.
- Manage program timing, cost, weight, quality, and performance targets for assigned vehicle programs.
- Drive technical issue resolution, validation activities, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead launch activities and coordinate troubleshooting efforts during vehicle production startup.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 8+ years of automotive engineering experience with a strong focus on Exhaust Systems;
Air Induction experience is a plus. - Proven program management experience with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of automotive Air Induction and Exhaust systems, manufacturing processes, DFMEA, and DVP&R methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and supplier management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
