** Transmission Development & Validation Engineer
** to join their team. As a  
** Transmission Development & Validation Engineer** , you will be part of the  
** Powertrain Engineering Department
** supporting the  
** Transmission Development, Validation, and Vehicle Testing Teams** . The ideal candidate will have  
** strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
** which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $50/hr

** What's the Job?*
* + Lead automatic transmission development and validation activities.

+ Support transmission testing, instrumentation setup, debugging, and execution.

+ Analyze test data, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.

+ Collaborate with hardware, software, calibration, thermal, and engine engineering teams.

+ Manage validation plans, test schedules, documentation, and release activities.

** What's Needed?*
* + Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.

+ 3+ years of automotive powertrain experience with automatic transmission systems.

+

Experience with transmission development, validation, testing, or release activities.

+ Familiarity with ETAS INCA and/or Vector CANalyzer.

+ Ability to work onsite in Auburn Hills, MI and travel up to 20% within North America.
