We're looking for a Controls Integration Engineer to take technical ownership of controls engine programs within a fast-paced, high-impact automotive environment. In this role, you'll lead the technical development of key projects, working hand-in-hand with Systems, Architecture, Network, Controls & Software, and Validation teams to bring cutting-edge Transmission and Driveline controls to life. • Lead the technical development of controls engine programs alongside key stakeholders, deploying solutions across Systems, Architecture, Network, Controls & Software, and Validation teams
• Drive controls feature development, managing technical deliverables and change management approvals
• Serve as technical lead for controls validation — supporting test cases, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulator sign-off, tracking validation results, and participating in road tests/drive sessions
• Lead issue resolution efforts, managing and tracking technical open points and risk mitigation actions
• Develop detailed technical risk assessments, assisting Controls Managers and initiating activities in Life Cycle Management tools to plan work for the extended team
• Lead a cross-functional technical team in the Vehicle & Propulsion Controls area, interfacing with external stakeholders and Chief Engineers to meet Transmission/Driveline controls project goals

• Proven experience in controls engineering within an automotive or related technical environment
• Strong technical leadership skills, with the ability to guide cross-functional teams through complex programs
• Experience with controls validation processes, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation and test case development
• Familiarity with change management processes and Life Cycle Management tools
• Strong risk assessment and issue resolution skills, with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface confidently with Chief Engineers and external stakeholders
