Seeking an experienced Principal Hardware Design Engineer to lead the development of Battery Management System (BMS) hardware for automotive applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end BMS electrical hardware design.
- Develop BMS architecture and electrical schematics.
- Design PCBs, analog/digital circuits, sensors, and communication interfaces.
- Collaborate with PCB layout, software, systems, and validation teams.
- Build and validate hardware prototypes.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 and other safety standards.
- Prepare DFMEA, WCCA, test plans, and engineering documentation.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and improve product performance.
- Support Li-Ion battery systems and high-voltage applications.
