Financial Analyst

Overview

Reliance One is hiring for one of our trusted clients! We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join a dynamic Accounting team. This role is responsible for financial reporting, journal entries, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and business analysis that supports strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, and comfortable working in both an office and manufacturing environment while partnering with leaders across the business.

• Prepare and post journal entries to support monthly financial reporting
• Review monthly financial information and ensure the accuracy and reasonableness of financial results
• Compare budgets and forecasts to actual performance and analyze variances
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
• Support the design, implementation, and monitoring of internal controls, including end-user computing controls
• Review and summarize capital expenditure requests, evaluating the business case for proposed investments
• Develop financial models and analyses to support business decisions and operational improvements
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses for leadership and key stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal control requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required
• CPA or equivalent professional designation preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal control concepts
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Experience with data analysis tools is a plus
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Daily interaction with employees across multiple departments
• Ability to work on a computer for extended periods
• Ability to be present on the production floor as needed
• Overtime may be required based on business needs
