Position SummaryThe Lead CTRS is responsible for providing Recreational Therapy services, including assessments, treatment planning, therapeutic activity interventions, and discharge leisure planning. The Lead CTRS utilizes individual and/or group activity interventions to bring about positive changes in the client’s behavior, cognition, social, emotional, or physical well-being. The Lead CTRS educates clients in healthy coping skills and available leisure resources to continue their post-discharge leisure planning and involvement.
The Lead CTRS will provide services in accordance with current standards of practice.

Qualifications- Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Therapeutic Recreation from an approved program required.
- Certification by the National Certification Board (NCTRC) required.
- Two (2) years clinical experience required; psychiatric experience preferred.
- Employee must be in good standing (evaluation/employment history, corrective action, etc.) to be considered for internal transfer.
