ResponsibilitiesThe Lead Certified Therapeutic Recreational Therapist (Full‑Time) is responsible for the provision of Recreational Therapy services, including assessments, treatment planning, therapeutic activity interventions and discharge leisure planning. The Lead CTRS utilizes individual and/or group activity interventions to bring about positive changes in the client’s behavior, cognition, social, emotional or physical functioning. The Lead CTRS educates the client in healthy coping skills and available leisure resources to continue post‑discharge leisure planning and involvement.
The Lead CTRS will provide services in accordance with current standards of practice.

Qualifications- Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation from an approved program required.
- Certification by National Certification Board (NCTRC) required.
- Two (2) years of clinical experience required; psychiatric experience preferred.
- Employee must be in good standing (evaluation/employment history, corrective action, etc.) to be considered for internal transfer.
