Senior One Stream Finance Systems Specialist – Auburn Hills

On behalf of our client, Systems Accountants is seeking a Senior One Stream Finance Systems Specialist for a global organization based in Auburn Hills, MI.

This role sits within the Financial Systems team, reporting to the Director. As a senior technical lead, you will be responsible for the sophisticated configuration and continuous improvement of the One Stream platform. This is a high-impact position designed for a specialist who enjoys solving complex technical challenges within a global financial reporting framework.

• Location: Auburn Hills, MI.
• Onsite Requirement: 4 days per week.
• Role Type: Senior Individual Contributor.

The Senior Specialist serves as the primary technical architect for One Stream enhancements. You will work closely with the global finance team to translate complex business requirements into robust system solutions, focusing specifically on advanced business rules and data integration.

Core Responsibilities:

• Technical Configuration: Lead the design and maintenance of complex member formulas,  business rules, and data quality scripts.
• Platform Enhancement: Develop and deploy Market Place solutions (e.g., Account Reconciliations, Tax Provision, or Lease Accounting) to extend platform value.
• Data Integration: Build and optimize data connectors and transformation rules to streamline data flow from various global ERP instances.
• Reporting Development: Create advanced Cube Views and Dashboards to provide real-time insights for executive leadership.
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and end-users across the global finance organization.
• System Maintenance: Oversee metadata updates, security maintenance, and the management of workflow profiles for month-end close and budget cycles.

• One Stream Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience in One Stream administration, development, or implementation.
• Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in or C# is required for writing and troubleshooting business rules.
• Accounting Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and multi-currency reporting.
• Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex data discrepancies and system performance issues independently.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Management Information Systems.
