Job purpose

Borg Warner DMS seeks a Business Analytics Intern to support the BU procurement excellence team. This position will assist with creation maintenance and ideation of new and existing analytical tools / dashboards.

Key responsibilities

* Systems development and maintenance support

* Redesign current Power

BI dashboards

* Creating new Power

BI dashboards

* Assist in the daily activities of ad hoc analysis

* Validate and understand analysis

* Summarize results in professional presentations

* Create timelines and plan for the project

* Other tasks as needed

What we're looking for

* Current full-time enrollment in an accredited college, university, vocational/trade school.

* Ability to report onsite at least three days to our Auburn Hills Campus

Education & Experience

* Computer Science preferred, Supply Chain major, Business Administration

* Self-motivated with good time management skills and ability to work independently

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to learn new business and technical skills and develop creative approaches to solving difficult problems

* Ability to work within large teams and communicate effectively

Qualifications

* PowerBI

* Microsoft Power platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.)

* Data Visualization

* Data Analysis

* SQL, Python, R

* Proficient in Power Point
