Job Description
Requirements—5+ years of experience with ETL Informatica, experience collecting design specs, seasoned developer (lead not required), testing, discussing defects, estimating task completion, proactive to identify design issues, experience working with clients to review requirements and discuss potential issues.
Current Environment—Informatica Power Center 9.5 (9.x experience required), Power Exchange, Data Validation (used by analytics, may be used by this team in the future), database client—DB2, TOAD (future), IBM Data Studio.
Soft Skills—Good interpersonal skills, analytical skills, self‑starter, easily adapt to change.
Potential Challenges—Coming up to speed, understanding dynamics of the team/company, if they’ve worked in a large company where there’s a lot of red tape they can be comfortable.
Exciting Items About Role—Support fairly small projects, get to touch a lot of other technologies and work with other members in the bank, work with BAs, attend ETL design meetings (once a week).
