We are seeking a strategic and hands-on IT Lead - AI Management to lead the implementation and execution of an AI management framework. This role works closely with all of our business units to drive the proper adoption of our AI ecosystem. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive and experienced with AI in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and lead enterprise AI management across all business units, including coordination with Legal, IT / Cybersecurity, Compliance, and HR
  • Design, implement, and operate the enterprise AI governance model (policies, standards, controls, decision frameworks)
  • Establish AI usage standards, architecture guardrails, approval workflows and lifecycle governance
  • Translate AI management framework into operational processes and tools
  • Monitor AI usage, risk exposure and policy adherence
  • Govern enterprise AI platforms, tools, and vendors, including lifecycle management, licensing, and approved tool strategy
  • Act as the technical translator between architects and executive leadership, clearly explaining AI architecture, risks, and trade-offs
  • Guide business units in selecting and implementing appropriate AI solutions aligned with governance standards
  • Define architectural standards and communicate them to technical and non-technical groups
  • Develop AI based training programs for business and technical users to drive awareness and responsible usage
  • Track AI adoption, value realization, and cost, and provide executive-level reporting and decision support

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science or related field
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business languages
  • Experience building and leading small AI management / governance teams, promoting collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement while delivering business value.
  • 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and operating AI governance frameworks, AI platforms, or enterprise architecture solutions
  • Deep understanding of Generative AI & LLM ecosystems, RAG architecture and MLOps lifecycle
  • Strong understanding of risk management, compliance, and data governance and 3rd party / vendor risk management
  • 5+ years of experience with Data Architecture and Data Pipelines
  • Experience with relevant tools such as Airflow, Airbyte, MLFlow, Lang Graph / Lang Smith, Kafka, qdrant or similar tools
  • Automotive industry experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Experience

  • 1+ years of experience with the Shakudo Platform
