Supply Chain Specialist
Location: Auburn Hills, MI (100% Onsite)
Pay: Up to $37.02/hr.
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain, Inventory Planning, and Order Management Specialist to support global inventory movement and international supply chain operations. This long-term contract role focuses on balancing inventory across multiple regions, improving product availability, and supporting global distribution networks.
What You’ll Do- Manage inventory planning and order management across global distribution centers
- Analyze inventory levels, demand trends, and supply data to reduce shortages and excess stock
- Coordinate international inventory transfers and replenishment activities
- Support forecasting, demand planning, and inventory optimization efforts
- Partner with teams across North America, Europe, Latin America, APAC, and other global regions
- Monitor supply risks, backorders, and service levels while developing action plans
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to improve inventory flow and customer service performance
- Use data, reporting tools, and analytics to drive supply chain decisions and process improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory control, demand planning, or order management
- Experience supporting global or international supply chain operations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills preferred
- Experience with AI, automation, analytics, or forecasting tools is a plus
- Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones and collaborate with global teams
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
