This Position reports to:
Robotics US Country Leader.

Vice President, Automotive Robotics US will lead the Local Business Line (LBL) Automotive Robotics in the United States, driving a superior customer experience, profitable growth, and a strategy fully aligned with both the US Robotics organization and the global Automotive Robotics Business Line. This role serves as a critical member of the global Automotive Robotics leadership team and a key contributor to the overall success of the US Robotics business.

The position carries full P&L responsibility for Automotive Robotics within the US.

The successful candidate will foster a customer‑centric culture grounded in quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. This leader will oversee the US Robotics & Discrete Automation business area, providing strategic, operational, and functional leadership across associated teams. The role is accountable for financial performance, operational execution, and the successful implementation of the global business area strategy within the US market.

Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Leadership of the Local Business Line Automotive Robotics (LBL) and execute the strategy to agreed targets, taking overall financial responsibility for the Local BL.
  • Strengthen the commercial and business development strategy of the Robotics Automotive business.
  • Develop and lead an energized and motivated team culture, driving superior customer experience.
  • Ensure effective deployment of personnel to meet the business needs.
  • Ensure appropriate channel and segment strategy is in place.
  • Lead and ensure effective governance of the BL.
  • Actively lead the risk review process.
  • Work with relevant cross‑functional teams to ensure projects are executed to plan.
  • Build a culture of empowerment and engagement across the teams.
  • Monitor and address competitor strategy; ensure market needs are communicated to the product management team.
  • Responsible and accountable for the health and safety of all employees and contractors acting for and on behalf of the local business line.
  • Play an active role in the local RA leadership team and contribute to broader business strategy.

Qualifications for the Role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or a technical field or equivalent required;
    Master’s Degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration preferred.
  • Minimum 15+ years’ relevant industry experience in Automation and/or Robotics.
  • Passion for customers, quality and technology.
  • Leadership experience within cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of value proposition development.
  • Experience of sales management tools usage and deployment, preferably Salesforce.
  • Ability to coach, develop, lead and energize an organization.
