Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee $50M programs focused on building data centers for Artificial Intelligence. This role involves managing projects from purchase order to installation, typically spanning 6-8 months. Initial work will be based in Auburn Hills, with subsequent travel to client sites for installations.

Responsibilities

+ Ensure targeted project margins and cash-flow.

+ Coordinate the completion of unresolved issues and obtain necessary certificates for project closure.

+ Deliver products or systems solutions that meet defined specifications, schedules, and budgets.

+ Complete order booking packages per compliance requirements.

+ Determine optimal order execution strategies in alignment with operations and customer needs.

+ Collaborate with production, purchasing, planning, and other functions to meet customer requirements.

+ Respond to sales and customer inquiries within 24 hours.

+ Meet project financial targets and lead project reviews.

+ Lead project teams, define guidelines, allocate tasks, and provide performance feedback.

+ Plan and schedule projects, including defining scope, financial plans, and risk management plans.

+ Monitor and control project progress, financials, and resource utilization.

+ Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.

+ Ensure projects follow best practices and client policies.

+ Apply contract and claims management consistently.

+ Coordinate with Supply Chain Management for procurement needs.

+ Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.

Essential Skills

+ 7+ years of Project Management experience.

+ 5+ years of automation experience.

+ 5+ years' experience with Microsoft Excel and SAP.

+ Expert level Excel experience with advanced formulas and dashboard creation.

+ Autonomy and complex problem-solving abilities.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ 10 years of project management experience managing $50M programs.

+ High School Diploma required.

+ Previous experience working on automation projects.

+

Experience with data centers/AI companies and robotics is a plus.

+ Previous SAP experience.

+ Ability to handle high volumes of data efficiently.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Auburn Hills, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58.00 - $70.00/hr.
