Hemming Project Manager

Job Description

Currently, we are seeking a Hemming Project Manager to become a part of the HIROTEC team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review hemming project proposals to determine timelines, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing hemming operations, and allocation of available resources across all phases of the hemming project.
• Serve as the primary customer contact and provide technical expertise for overall hemming project management, including hemming tool/process development, design and hemming feasibility buy‑off, and integration of hemming equipment and systems into the production line.
• Confer with project and manufacturing personnel to define the work plan and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority related to hemming activities throughout the life of the hemming project.
• Review status reports, adjust schedules, tooling plans, or process parameters to support hemming quality and timing targets; prepare detailed hemming project reports for management, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Continuously strive to improve Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Safety (QDCS) within all hemming operations.

Qualifications

• The position requirements include 5 years related experience. Exceptional interpersonal/communication skills, and must possess strong organizational skills, teamwork and leadership skills. Ability to travel for service and installation, both nationally and internationally.
