CNC Turning Department Manager
to lead and scale our CNC lathe and Swiss machining operations.
This is not a “babysit the floor” role. This is a leadership position for someone who understands precision manufacturing, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to build something exceptional.
What You’ll Own:- Full responsibility for the CNC Turning Department
- Programming using Esprit CAM software
- Management of multi-axis CNC lathes and Swiss-style machines
- Process development, cycle time reduction, and tooling optimization
- Mentorship and development of machinists and programmers
- Scheduling, workflow control, and on-time delivery performance
- Quality control and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong hands‑on experience with CNC turning (multi‑axis preferred)
- Advanced Esprit programming capability
- Deep understanding of Swiss lathe processes
- Ability to read and interpret complex GD&T
- Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Process‑driven mindset with strong accountability
