Operate CNC lathes to manufacture precision metal components while meeting production, quality, and safety requirements;
Edit CNC programs, including tool registers, offsets, compensation, and program adjustments to optimize machining operations;
Calculate machining requirements using basic mathematics, geometry, and trigonometry to verify dimensions and machine settings;
Assist with CNC machine setup by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, collets, bushings, tooling, attachments, stock pushers, gears, cams, and related equipment;
Verify machine setups by inspecting first article and production parts using precision measuring instruments and established quality standards
