Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Process Support II professional to coordinate product change activities across engineering and manufacturing organizations. This role serves as a key liaison between cross-functional teams, ensuring that product changes are evaluated, communicated, approved, and implemented efficiently while minimizing impact to manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage product change activities from initiation through implementation.
- Attend product change meetings, workshops, and review sessions to assess proposed changes.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, quality, logistics, finance, production operations, industrial engineering, and program management teams to gather impact assessments.
- Schedule and facilitate cross-functional meetings to collect data, communicate updates, and align stakeholders.
- Evaluate the manufacturing, cost, quality, and operational impacts of proposed product changes.
- Track approvals, funding requirements, and change implementation status using established processes and tools.
- Provide change impact analyses and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain dashboards, reports, presentations, and executive-level updates.
- Support continuous improvement efforts and help ensure smooth product launches and production readiness.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing, product development, or a related environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting/data visualization tools.
- Experience developing dashboards, analyzing large datasets, and creating executive-level reports and presentations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- 3+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing and product development.
- Understanding of manufacturing operations, launch management processes, and production readiness requirements.
- Ability to summarize complex technical information and present actionable insights to leadership.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working in highly collaborative, cross-functional manufacturing environments.
