Position: Weld fitter

Schedule: Day Shift (Monday
- Friday 6a-4:45p + Saturday 6a-12p)

Under the supervision of the department supervisor, Weld Fitters are responsible for laying out, fitting, and assembling metal components in preparation for welding, ensuring all parts meet blueprint specifications, tolerances, and quality standards. This role interprets engineering drawings, weld symbols, and fabrication requirements to position, align, and secure parts using clamps, fixtures, and tack welds. The Weld Fitter works closely with welders and fabricators to ensure accurate fit‑up, performs quality checks, and maintains a safe, organized work environment.

Strong blueprint reading, measurement accuracy, and metal‑fabrication skills are essential.

Daily roles include collaborating in a team-oriented environment with cross functional workers.

• Analyze and interpret blueprints to determine the specifications, tolerances, and locate/read the stock list on a drawing
