At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a CNC Mill Programmer/Operator (Mazak) to work with a leading manufacturer of welding fixtures in Auburn Hills. This role involves programming and operating Mazak CNC mills for short-run production of specialized fixtures.
Shift Patterns:
- Monday to Friday, 1st shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm
- 30.00 - 37.00 USD hourly
- More than 5 years of experience programming and operating Mazak CNC mills
- Ability to read blueprints proficiently
- Ability to program with Mazatrol controls
- Ability to proficiently use measuring instruments such as mics and calipers
- Willingness to take training CNC classes as needed for complex machining
- Experience with CAD/CAM or CNC lathe
- Program and operate Mazak CNC mills for short-run machining (1-10 pieces)
- Machine parts for welding fixtures using mild steel, copper, and aluminum
- Program from prints using Mazatrol controls
- Permanent position
- 90-day contract to direct hire upon successful completion
