Electrical Panel Assembler (Entry-Level) – $20/hr – 1st Shift (Auburn Hills)

Title: Electrical Panel Assembler (Entry-Level) – $20/hr – 1st Shift (Auburn Hills)
Location: Auburn Hills, MI (on-site)
Schedule:1st shift. Typical hours include Mon–Thu 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and Fri 6:30 AM–2:30 PM (schedule may vary).

Pay:$20/hour

Hiring an Electrical Panel Assembler for a hands-on manufacturing role building custom electrical control panels. This is a strong entry-level opportunity for candidates who like working with their hands, following build sheets/prints, and using hand and power tools in a production environment. If you’re detail-oriented, dependable, and ready to learn electrical assembly, this Electrical Panel Assembler position offers steady work and skill growth.

Responsibilities

  • Review build sheets, wiring diagrams, and production documentation
  • Assemble electrical plates and enclosures based on build prep instructions
  • Install electrical components, controllers, and hardware per documentation
  • Wire components using correct color/gauge, ferrules, cables, tags, and required identification
  • Use common hand tools and power tools safely and correctly
  • Follow quality standards, work instructions, and safety procedures (PPE, housekeeping, 5S)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
  • Support teammates to keep production moving and meet daily output goals

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable working on your feet in a production/manufacturing environment
  • Ability to safely use hand/power tools (drills, drivers, crimpers, cutters)
  • Ability to follow written instructions and basic mechanical/electrical prints
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Technical/vocational training is a plus (electrical, manufacturing, industrial tech)
