Assembler – Long-Term Contract Opportunity | $20.00/Hour
Reliance One is hiring Assemblers for a long-term contract opportunity in Auburn Hills, MI. This Assembler role is a great opportunity for candidates with hands-on experience using hand and power tools, reading blueprints, and following work instructions in a manufacturing environment.
As an Assembler, you will be responsible for building high-quality products while following engineering documents, meeting production standards, and ensuring customer specifications are achieved.

- Assemble products according to engineering documents, work orders, and production procedures
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks
- Follow blueprints, specifications, and detailed work instructions
- Perform quality checks and operator-based Go/No-Go testing as required
- Monitor the quality of parts used during the assembly process
- Operate computer systems to review schedules and update manufacturing status
- Complete required paperwork, records, documentation, and reject tickets
- Assist with training new employees and resolving production questions
- Perform material handling activities as needed
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to productivity and quality
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and production documents
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a manufacturing environment
- Hi-Lo/Forklift experience is a plus
- Previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
