The Durability Demonstration Vehicle (DDV) test program supports achieving OBD (On-Board Diagnostics) certification approval for our vehicles. The OBD DDV Test Engineer is responsible for the preparation and testing of emissions certification vehicles, which includes:
- Resolving test vehicle issues, requesting vehicle updates and acquiring parts, as needed
- Loading vehicle calibrations (module flashes) and running associated vehicle update procedures
- Coordinating mileage accumulation activities for test vehicles
- Creating & submitting chassis dynamometer test requests and reviewing resulting data
- Posting final test reports into internal corporate databases
- Managing fleet of certification vehicles
- Supporting other compliance requests with test data, as needed
In addition to the responsibilities for the DDV program, the selected candidate will serve in a supporting role for other tailpipe, EVAP or OBD test programs.
This is an onsite position at the Chrysler Technology Center in Auburn Hills, MI. Occasional off shift/weekend test support may be required.
