Quality Engineer
Inalfa Roof Systems is a leading supplier of OEM automotive roof systems. We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support the development of roof systems for future car models.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain collaborative relationships between the supplier, customer, and plant.
- Implement and improve statistical methods, quality cost analysis, specification and procedure development.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/IATF requirements and support plant quality audits.
- Maintain the quality and integrity of assigned products to meet customer and Inalfa requirements.
- Conduct product and process failure analysis (FMEA).
- Apply quality techniques such as SPC, Core Tools, Kaizen, DOE, and other improvement tools.
- Facilitate effective problem‑solving with production teams.
- Provide training and leadership in quality processes and principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2‑5 years’ experience in automotive quality, focusing on assembly.
- Minimum of 2 years inspection experience.
- ASQC certifications preferred; IATF 16949, VDA Auditor certifications preferred.
- Demonstrated excellent problem‑solving, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes and principles (ISO/IATF), including automotive industry standards.
- Experience with North American, German, Japanese OEMs (e.g., GM, Ford, Stellantis, Honda, Nissan, Daimler, BMW) preferred.
