Quality Engineer

Overview

Jabil is seeking an entry‑level Quality Engineer to work in our plant in Auburn Hills, MI. The role supports the Quality Assurance function by providing technical support for manufacturing issues, driving corrective actions, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensure capability studies are performed on critical processes.
• Perform first article inspection and review visual aids.
• Perform defect analysis reporting.
• Perform MRB on sustained products.
• Participate in CAC meetings to support continuous improvement.
• Perform line and product audits.
• Assist Quality Engineering in APQP.
• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations and follow company security policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 6 months of experience in an engineering or quality role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong technical writing skills (validation reports, SOPs).
• Time‑management skills, attention to detail, and data analysis abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Minitab is a plus.
