Mechanic - Heavy Equipment

COMMERCIAL CONTRACTING CORPORATION MECHANIC – HEAVY EQUIPMENT

Location: Auburn Hills, MI

The ideal candidate enjoys working on electrical, hydraulics, engine diagnostics on a variety of equipment. The function of this position is to diagnose and repair CCC owned heavy construction equipment and smaller pieces as well. This is a non‑union position, located at our Yard/Shop in Auburn Hills.

• CAT and other construction equipment
• Hyster and other similar lift trucks
• Broderson cranes
• Skytrack lifts
• LP, gas and diesel engines
• Personnel (golf cart, side‑by‑side) electrical systems
• Hydraulic systems

• Understanding of how to diagnose and solve problems.
• The ability to work independently.
• Complete paperwork thoroughly and accurately.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and prioritization skills.
• Strong communication skills via email, text messaging, and other software platforms required to diagnose equipment.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Have your own basic tools. CCC provides specialty tools.
• Chauffeur's license and current medical card preferred – CCC will arrange if needed.
• Participate in our drug screen program.
