Responsibilities- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Perform various facilities maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and related problems on machinery/equipment and perform timely repairs.
- Establish appropriate preventive maintenance frequency and perform regular maintenance on all machinery/equipment within the facility.
- Perform timely facility and building maintenance and minor repairs, maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Dismantle defective machines/equipment and install new or repaired equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and repairs.
- Coordinate and make recommendations on work-related contracts and services.
- Supervise outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance.
- Participate in, support, and comply with health, safety, quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements.
- This position works directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery.
- Adhere to the applicable employee attributes/competencies set by the employer.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
- Demonstrate mechanical and technical aptitude
- 3–5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment
- College degree or certificate in a technical area or related field
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
