Travel Team Automotive Technician

Technician Position at Penske Vehicle Services

Penske Vehicle Services is a world class business partner working with automotive manufacturers to deliver custom order projects and mechanical solutions to their customers.

Technicians perform diagnostic and mechanical repair to support customer programs.

Diagnose problems, replace/repair faulty parts, inspect various parts and systems to check for problems. Utilize OEM systems for software flashing, labor guides, and service procedures.

Other mechanical work as needed.

Skills/requirements:

• 2-4 years of diagnostic, mechanical and technical experience
• Intermediate-Advanced tool set required
• Some computer experience preferred
• Must have valid driver's license
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Requires moderate to high level of physical activity
• Lifting Requirements: 5 – 75 lbs.

Travel Requirements:

• Periodic travel: typically between 1-3 weeks at a time.
• During this period, there is a compensation adjustment for travel plus a per diem allowance paid based on the number of working days.
• All travel expenses are incurred and paid by the company
