Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician supports and performs industrial maintenance on complex automated machinery in the Assembly Department, operating in a clean room environment. This role focuses on preventive and reactive maintenance for automated assembly equipment, robotics, and auxiliary systems, ensuring reliable and efficient production.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated assembly equipment, robotics, and auxiliary systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production machinery in a timely manner
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and document all maintenance activities in accordance with company standards and procedures
• Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and overall process performance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with clean room protocols and facility standards

Essential Skills

• Minimum 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience performing preventive and reactive maintenance on automated machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills, including troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems
• Proficiency with pneumatics (strongly preferred) and hydraulic systems for troubleshooting and repair
• Ability to perform electrical maintenance on systems up to 480 volts, including three-phase power
• Experience working with motors, sensors, and vision/camera systems in an industrial setting
• Comfort using computers and digital tools to support maintenance activities and documentation

This is a Permanent position based out of Auburn Hills, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $28.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
